Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening / Second Shift, classified as day shift)
Hours per Week: 39
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation to support quality care
- Ensure a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with transfers and positioning while using safe lifting techniques
- Contribute to a positive resident experience through attentive, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
- Active state certification or ability to transfer/obtain Maine certification
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with resident care and activities of daily living
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable documenting care accurately and communicating observations
- Team player who collaborates well with nurses and other caregivers
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
