Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Document resident care accurately and timely in the facility’s record system
Support mealtime and personal hygiene needs with respect and professionalism
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Maine (required)
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Reliable transportation and ability to work the scheduled evening shift
Clear background check and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living assistance and safe resident handling
Good communication and teamwork — you’ll be a key part of the care team
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy long-term care environment
