Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility protocols
- Perform skilled assessments and monitor resident status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and update individualized care plans
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and safe patient handling during shift changes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control standards and facility safety procedures to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license; Massachusetts licensure preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate for Licensed Practical Nurse roles
- ADN or BSN for Registered Nurse roles
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and nursing assessments
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
- Charting and documentation skills, comfortable with electronic medical records
- Basic wound care and infection control practices
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
