Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent falls
- Document care accurately and timely to keep the team informed
- Collaborate with nurses and other staff to create a warm, person-centered environment
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (CNA) — required
- Comfort providing direct resident care with compassion and patience
- Ability to work the assigned evening shift (2:45 PM - 10:30 PM)
- Clear background and health screenings as required by facility policy
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic resident care and activities of daily living
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
