Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate direct care to residents and patients
- Support activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity
- Safely assist with mobility and transfers to promote independence
- Document care and observations clearly and promptly to support the care team
- Communicate changes in patient condition to nurses and clinical staff
- Help create a warm, comfortable environment that supports patient well-being
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid work authorization for employment in the U.S.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification preferred or obtained quickly
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and following safety protocols
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic infection control and safe handling practices
- Accurate documentation and charting of care provided
- Effective verbal communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
