Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately
- Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and mobility
- Document care, changes, and observations clearly and promptly
- Communicate effectively with the care team and family members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-required) in good standing
- Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Comfortable with physical aspects of resident care and safe patient handling
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital sign measurement and observation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Accurate documentation and charting
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
