Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient function and determine individualized treatment needs using current PT standards
• Develop clear, measurable treatment plans and goals aligned with patient needs and facility guidelines
• Deliver hands-on and evidence-based interventions while monitoring patient progress closely
• Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently (ability to manage approximately 2 patients per hour)
• Document assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education to support outcomes and satisfaction
• Assist with overall department operations to maintain smooth, patient-centered workflows

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) recent Physical Therapy experience — required
• BS, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy — required
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license (Compact allowed) and must be active at time of submission
• Current BLS (AHA) certification — required
• COVID-19 vaccination — declinations not accepted (documentation required)
• Ability to manage an acute-care caseload and adapt to patient acuity changes
• Required submission documents: GBMC cover page (or we can provide), resume, skills checklist specific to PT, and supervisory references (one within last 6 months and one within last 12 months)

Education

• BS in Physical Therapy
• Master's in Physical Therapy
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy theories, practices, and professional standards
• Skilled in oral and written communication and organized documentation
• Efficient time management and ability to prioritize a busy schedule
• Capability to develop treatment plans, monitor outcomes, and modify care as needed
• Excellent customer service mindset and collaborative teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in acute and sub-acute settings across a larger health system
