Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care by assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support safe mobility and transfers while using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart to ensure continuity
• Assist with meal service and feeding as needed, respecting dietary plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to follow individualized care plans
• Participate in required weekend coverage as part of the team schedule

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or T-LNA credential in good standing (required)
• Ability to start on the firm start date of 02/25/2026 and commit through 05/27/2026
• Willingness to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and every other weekend as scheduled
• Successful completion of facility background check and health screening (immunizations/TB per policy)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus

Education

• Completion of a state-approved LNA training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care skills with good knowledge of ADLs and basic clinical observations
• Reliable documentation and charting practices
• Effective communication and teamwork with clinical staff and families
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during shift
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
• Basic knowledge of mobility and safe transfer techniques
• Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols consistently
