Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, making each day more comfortable and dignified
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs and any changes in resident condition accurately and promptly
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention efforts, prioritizing resident safety
- Document care and observations clearly to support excellent team communication
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
- Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a background check and standard health screenings
Education

Knowledge & Skills
- Resident-centered care and dignity-focused approach
- Assisting with ADLs and personal care with patience and respect
- Basic clinical observations and accurate documentation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Effective teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
- Time management and attention to detail in a busy care environment
