Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition accurately
• Support nursing staff with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to promote holistic care
• Assist with timely and accurate charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA) in good standing
• Previous experience as a CNA or Travel CNA is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work nights and a schedule of Monday through Wednesday
• Valid state-required background checks and immunizations as applicable
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic clinical care: ADLs, toileting, feeding, and ambulation assistance
• Familiarity with infection control, PPE use, and safe patient handling
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing changes
• Good documentation practices and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
