Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients using best practices
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Perform patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly and promptly
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to create and follow care plans
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with attention to comfort and safety
Educate patients and families about care, medications, and post-discharge instructions
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and follow facility policies

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Virginia (LPN) — candidates who are RNs are also welcome to inquire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and adapting to unit needs
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent nursing education)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and skilled nursing care delivered with professionalism
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
Team collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
Basic EMR charting and adherence to infection control practices
