Location: Baltimore, MD
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift; specific days not specified in posting)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing and feeding
- Take and record vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
- Document care accurately and communicate important updates to the nursing team
- Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Engage residents in meaningful interactions and help maintain their dignity
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained upon hire
- Meets Maryland state requirements for nursing assistants or GNA registration
- Comfortable working the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to pass required background check and any facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of personal care and assistance techniques for older adults
- Basic skills in taking and recording vital signs
- Infection control and safety awareness when caring for residents
- Accurate and timely documentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
