Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during fluoroscopy, angiography, and cardiac cath procedures using Siemens and Philips angio equipment
• Prepare and maintain cath lab instrumentation and supplies to ensure procedural efficiency
• Perform accurate Cerner charting and documentation to support continuity of care
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Participate in on-call rotation, providing dependable coverage for evenings and rotating weekends
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and orientation to meet unit competency expectations

Qualifications

• California Radiology License (required)
• BLS certification (required) and Fluoro certification (required)
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cath lab, interventional radiology, cardiac, or neuro vascular procedures
• Familiarity with Siemens and Philips angiography systems
• Experience with Cerner charting and Merge Hemo CVIS is a plus
• Willingness to complete pre-assignment modules (approximately 6 hours) and orientation hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and angiography procedural knowledge
• Cath lab setup and procedural workflow
• Operation and troubleshooting of Siemens and Philips angio equipment
• Cerner electronic charting proficiency
• Ability to provide reliable call coverage and work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of IR, cardiac, and neuro cath lab environments
