Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Perform regular vital signs checks and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of resident care and observations
• Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistance devices
• Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote person-centered care
• Participate in shifts and handoffs with enthusiasm and attention to detail to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (VT or NH licensure appropriate for the assignment)
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts on a rotating two-week schedule
• Ability to start the contract assignment from 2026-01-26 through 2026-04-27
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work at the Genesis - Northeast Region facility in the Upper Valley

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed LNA training program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and activities of daily living
• Proficient with taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Strong documentation and observational skills
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy care setting
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication with residents and staff
