Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
• Manage advanced cardiac monitoring and telemetry to detect and act on arrhythmias and hemodynamic shifts
• Administer medications and manage vasoactive drips and complex infusion therapies safely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments, prioritize care interventions, and document changes accurately
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatments, and discharge planning with compassion and clarity
• Maintain strict infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Colorado
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 3 months of start
• PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of start
• TNCC preferred
• Prefer 2 years of relevant critical care nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing principles and ICU patient management
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• BLS, ACLS, and pediatric emergency course familiarity (PALS/ENPC)
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
