Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct nursing care to residents in a senior living community
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document care accurately and promptly
• Assess resident condition changes and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support resident comfort, dignity and independence through compassionate care
• Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety following facility protocols
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and staff to create person-centered care plans
• Participate in shift handoffs and accurate charting to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact RN license as applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in senior living, long-term care or assisted living settings preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong clinical assessment skills, medication administration experience, and dependable attendance
• Comfortable working all days of the week as needed for coverage

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessments, care planning and monitoring
• Infection control and wound care basics
• Electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and handle fast-paced resident care needs
