Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and observations accurately and promptly
• Support safe meal assistance and nourishment while respecting resident preferences
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, offering dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required; T-CNA recognized
• Ability to work night shifts and commit to the 14-week travel assignment (2026-01-21 to 2026-04-20)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and mobility support
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with residents and team members
• Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
