Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on the assigned unit with compassion and clinical excellence
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and intervene when clinical changes occur
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Participate in shift handoffs and support continuity of care across the team

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Pennsylvania RN license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Clinical experience as an RN; inpatient experience preferred
• Current immunizations and any state-required health screenings
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy proficiency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize and respond in fast-paced acute care settings
• Patient and family education with a compassionate bedside manner
