Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy
• Position patients and operate GE imaging equipment and scanners to acquire diagnostic images
• Document imaging procedures accurately in the EMR (Meditech) and maintain clear communication with radiologists
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and radiation safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists and multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care decisions
• Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patient comfort and privacy
• Respond to on-call requests professionally and promptly as part of the department rotation

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Florida State DOH License required
• Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience preferred
• Strong experience with GE equipment and familiarity with Meditech preferred
• Excellent communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• CT scanning and image acquisition best practices
• Familiarity with MRI, X-Ray and Fluoroscopy procedures
• Patient positioning and radiation safety principles
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
• Troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse clinical teams
