Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile, safe, and well-stocked operating room for a variety of surgical specialties
• Assist surgeons and scrub teams across orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, robotic, urology, gyne, and general cases
• Set up and troubleshoot robotic surgery systems and specialty instruments with care and precision
• Manage instrument counts, sterilization status, and surgical trays to ensure efficiency and patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively deliver instruments and supplies
• Respond professionally and calmly to on-call activations and emergent cases when needed
• Document case details and equipment usage accurately to support quality records and billing

Qualifications

• Experience in orthopedic, neurosurgery, robotic, vascular, general, urology, and gyne cases (as indicated in the posting)
• Comfortable working a 4x10 schedule and participating in on-call rotations
• Proven ability to support robotic-assisted procedures and specialty surgical teams
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to sterile technique and patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and OR workflows across multiple specialties
• Hands-on experience with robotic platforms and associated setup/sterile draping
• Ability to maintain sterile field and follow strict infection control practices
• Strong organizational skills for instrument counts and OR turnover
• Good communication and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and sterile processing teams
