Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled med/surg nursing care to adult patients during night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document care and clinical findings clearly in the patient record
• Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs and clinical emergencies
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) current
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) current
• Med/Surg nursing experience and comfort working night shift
• Negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
• Ability to pass facility onboarding checks and background screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong med/surg assessment and clinical judgment
• IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Prioritization, time management, and the ability to work independently on night shift
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
