Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage during surgical procedures to support optimal patient outcomes
- Perform intraoperative X-ray procedures with precision and adherence to imaging protocols
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to ensure seamless case flow
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure reliability and safety in the OR
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with imaging advancements
- Float to other locations or units of equal acuity as needed to support patient care
- Respond to on-call needs and provide dependable coverage for urgent surgical cases
Qualifications
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- State radiologic license as applicable (preferred or required per state rules)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical/OR imaging, ideally in Level I Trauma or teaching hospitals
- Proven proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems in the OR environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with Epic or similar charting systems preferred
- Familiarity with CT Airo, Medtronic, Stryker, Ziehm and other imaging accessories is a plus
Education
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration
- Current BLS certification
- State licensure as required
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of intraoperative imaging techniques (C-arm, O-arm) and X-ray safety
- Operating Room procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative workflows
- Equipment maintenance basics and ability to identify functionality issues
- Radiation safety practices and patient positioning for surgical imaging
- Comfort working in high-acuity settings including Level I Trauma and teaching hospitals
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and ability to communicate clearly under pressure
- Basic familiarity with Epic charting and electronic documentation best practices
