Shift Type: Weekdays (no weekends), day shifts — either four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or five 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); no holidays, no on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab
- Assist electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
- Continuously monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms, responding rapidly to changes
- Document care and procedures accurately in Epic to ensure seamless communication
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold rigorous safety and infection-control standards
- Participate in specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain excellence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license for the state of New York
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience required — you know the lab and the procedures
- BLS and ACLS certification required; CPI certification required
- Proficiency with Epic (electronic health record) strongly preferred
- Successful completion of license/certificate verification and Trinity competency checks
- Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, physical, and drug screen)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of EP lab workflow, equipment, and procedural support
- Advanced cardiac rhythm recognition and monitoring skills
- Comfortable with patient sedation/monitoring and acute care interventions
- Excellent documentation skills in Epic and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Commitment to patient safety, sterile technique, and evidence-based practice
