Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, following care plans and facility protocols
• Assess patients regularly and report changes in condition promptly to the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during overnight shifts
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and physicians to promote optimal resident outcomes
• Support a compassionate, respectful environment for residents and their families

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential; active and valid in New Mexico
• Completion of an accredited LPN program with clinical training
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Local candidates only as noted in the job posting
• Comfortable working overnight/extended shifts and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and infection control practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in urgent situations
• Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows is a plus
• Team collaboration, patient advocacy, and compassionate bedside manner
