Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care as an LPN during the evening and overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to facility policy
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary staff to support effective care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to safe handoffs at shift change
• Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting independence when possible
• Follow infection control practices and facility procedures to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state licensure required)
• Experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Able to start locally within 2 weeks (LOCAL ONLY requirement)
• Reliable transportation to the Santa Fe facility and ability to work overnight shifts

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Clinical assessment and basic wound care knowledge
• Good communication and teamwork skills with staff and residents
• Comfort with electronic charting or paper charting as used by the facility
• Time management and the ability to prioritize during overnight shifts
