Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including medication administration and routine treatments
• Perform patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and communicate findings promptly
• Document care accurately and legibly in the electronic health record
• Initiate and follow care plans in coordination with nurses and the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Pennsylvania license preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a travel/contract assignment
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and required onboarding paperwork

Education

• Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Basic wound care and dressing changes
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
