Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to assisted living residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
- Document resident care accurately and timely in the health record
- Collaborate with caregivers and family members to support resident-centered care plans
- Support infection control and safety measures to protect residents and staff
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a smooth, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Eligible to work in North Carolina and able to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Up-to-date immunizations and health documentation as required: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
- Completed physical or health statement and able to pass required Trinity 10 Panel drug screen
- Comfortable working in an assisted living setting and delivering person-centered care
- Reliable, professional, and able to work flexible per diem shifts
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program appropriate to licensure (RN or LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident assessment and observation skills
- Knowledge of assisted living care needs and common geriatric conditions
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Basic proficiency with clinical documentation and following care plans
- Infection control best practices and safe medication administration
