Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a full complement of surgical specialties
• Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks to enhance patient recovery
• Manage perioperative care including preoperative assessment and postoperative handoffs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, nursing staff and the perioperative team
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond to call-back situations as part of an equitable schedule
• Mentor and precept new graduates, sharing best practices and clinical knowledge
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety protocols, and contribute to quality improvement
• Keep skills current by choosing a variety of cases and participating in continuing education

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
• Active RN license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (MS or DNP preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS or pediatric anesthesia training preferred
• Comfort with regional anesthesia techniques and perioperative management
• Willingness to work in a multisite practice and participate in self-scheduling and on-call coverage
• New graduates welcome — physician one-on-one mentoring available

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (MS or DNP) and CRNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks
• Airway management and perioperative anesthetic planning
• Experience with anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, and safe medication administration
• Ability to care for patients across ENT, general, ortho, neurosurgery, gyn, urology and low-risk obstetrics
• Excellent communication, teamwork and patient-focused care
• Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment with variable case mix
• Adaptability to multisite practice and self-directed scheduling
