Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor pre-operative and post-operative patients with compassion and clinical precision
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders
• Operate and manage specialized perioperative equipment
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations
• Provide discharge planning and patient education to support recovery
• Follow standards of care, hospital policies, and evidence-based nursing practices

Qualifications

• Current, full, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state or territory
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must maintain throughout assignment)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a critical care setting (PACU, ICU, or ED)
• Fingerprinting submitted and cleared prior to start
• Comfort working 10-hour shifts and providing perioperative nursing care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment skills across pre- and post-op settings
• Medication administration and IV management
• Perioperative and critical care nursing principles
• Emergency response and rapid clinical decision-making
• Familiarity with ambulatory surgical procedures and postoperative monitoring
• Experience operating specialty medical equipment and supporting OR/PACU workflows
