Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating weekends; call required (day/rotating)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care as part of the LDRP team
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize care for expectant parents and newborns
- Monitor fetal status and respond quickly using basic fetal monitoring skills
- Stabilize and coordinate care for high-risk neonates alongside the nursery team
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and surgical teams trained in GYN surgical care
- Document patient care thoroughly and communicate clearly with families during critical moments
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally when called to assist
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
- Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Previous experience stabilizing high-risk neonates preferred
- Comfort participating in on-call rotations and rotating weekend schedules
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring and interpretation skills
- Skilled in maternal triage and rapid assessment
- Newborn care and nursery procedures, including neonatal stabilization
- Experience with postpartum assessments and family-centered education
- Familiarity with GYN surgical care environments
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Ability to stay calm and decisive in urgent situations
