Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process to achieve the best outcomes
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients with confidence and clinical judgment
- Lead and delegate tasks to other team members to maintain efficient, safe patient flow
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in clinical orientation and uphold department and specialty-specific standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Vermont
- ACLS and BLS required prior to contract start date
- PALS or ENPC required (active prior to start) — if not active, a booked course is required at time of clinical orientation
- Experience or comfort working in an Emergency Department environment preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Nursing Process and patient-centered care
- Emergency Department protocols and triage
- Age-specific care across the lifespan
- Regulatory compliance and documentation standards
- Leadership, delegation, and team coordination
- Basic and advanced life support skills (BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC)
