Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (NOC); includes rotating weekends and scheduled on-call shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) care for mothers and newborns
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret tracings to support timely clinical decisions
- Triage obstetric patients and prioritize care based on acuity
- Deliver newborn care, including routine assessments and post-delivery support
- Participate in high-risk neonatal stabilization and STABLE protocols when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives and interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
- Respond to on-call situations and support rotating weekend coverage with professionalism and calm
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure family-centered care
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required) and NRP (required)
- Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
- Experience in triage, labor & delivery, postpartum and nursery required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Previous experience stabilizing high-risk neonates preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — active RN status required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in LDRP workflows: labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care
- Proficient with fetal monitoring and interpreting fetal heart tracings
- Comfortable in triage settings and rapid assessment of obstetric patients
- Newborn care knowledge including initial assessment and routine postnatal care
- Experience with GYN surgical care in LDRP settings
- Able to provide calm, clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
