Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans that make measurable impact
- Deliver compassionate, goal-directed therapy to patients of varied ages
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
- Educate patients, families, and staff to ensure carryover and safety
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse needs and clinical settings
Qualifications
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA CCC-SLP strongly preferred or in-progress
- Active professional liability coverage (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable working in diverse clinical settings and collaborating with teams
- Excellent clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and patient rapport
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills in speech, language, and swallowing
- Proficiency with patient documentation and outcome measurement
- Ability to adapt therapy for pediatrics through adults as needed
- Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Time management and caseload prioritization in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
