Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and make sound clinical judgments to keep patients safe and comfortable
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
• Assist providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures in the pulmonary clinic
• Deliver clear, compassionate patient and family education to support self-care
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Use clinical knowledge to identify problems, prioritize care, and recommend practical solutions

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (current)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including lifting and prolonged standing
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Diagnostic and treatment procedure support
• Patient education and family engagement
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding basics
• Medical terminology and office procedures
