Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging using safe positioning and exposure techniques
- Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology to obtain diagnostic images
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists — provide clear communication and compassionate care
- Use critical thinking and professional judgment to adapt imaging protocols and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory and facility standards
- Support peripheral vascular access procedures as certified and assist with patient preparation and monitoring
Qualifications
- Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license
- Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, pharmacology and pathology
- Excellent patient communication skills and ability to work day/evening shifts including some weekends
- Professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced clinical settings

- Peripheral vascular access skills
- Pharmacology, pathology and physiology knowledge relevant to CT
