Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging using safe positioning and exposure techniques
• Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology to obtain diagnostic images
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists — provide clear communication and compassionate care
• Use critical thinking and professional judgment to adapt imaging protocols and troubleshoot technical challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory and facility standards
• Support peripheral vascular access procedures as certified and assist with patient preparation and monitoring

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license
• Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, pharmacology and pathology
• Excellent patient communication skills and ability to work day/evening shifts including some weekends
• Professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced clinical settings

• Peripheral vascular access skills
• Pharmacology, pathology and physiology knowledge relevant to CT
