Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays (72 hours bi-weekly)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients in a correctional healthcare environment
- Follow provider orders and adhere to recognized nursing standards, techniques, and facility policies
- Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation and care plans
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the clinical team to ensure safe, effective care
- Support safe patient movement and assist with lifting/pushing as required by patient needs and facility protocols
- Work collaboratively with correctional staff and clinical providers to balance security and patient care
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required (State of Ohio license only)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only
- One year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time during shifts
- Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work a correctional healthcare setting and follow site-specific policies including weekend and holiday rotations
Education
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) — degree level not specified (active Ohio RN license required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with correctional healthcare practices and security-conscious patient care
- Strong nursing documentation and care planning skills
- Clinical assessment and triage skills for acute and chronic conditions
- Familiarity with nursing standards of care and provider order implementation
- Good communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced, structured environments
