Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Serve as the patient advocate throughout the surgical experience, ensuring safety and dignity
- Act as the circulator during procedures, coordinating supplies, equipment, and team communication
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel while collaborating with the Unit Nurse Manager or RN Team Leader
- Follow and uphold established standards of care, policies, and procedures for surgical patients
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Float to other qualified departments as needed to support patient care and staffing
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain it
- Perioperative nursing experience and comfort functioning as a circulator (surgical)
- Demonstrated ability to provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and float to other qualified units
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong perioperative knowledge including preop, intraop, and postop care
- Patient advocacy and clear communication skills with patients and surgical teams
- Ability to follow nursing process, standards of care, and hospital policies
- Team leadership and delegation when supervising support staff
- Flexibility to work across departments and adapt to variable clinical needs
