Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with care team members
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep patients safe

Qualifications

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Active state CNA listing or ability to obtain state certification as required
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Background check and health screenings (immunizations) as required by facility
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification (state-appropriate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients and clinical teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Empathy, patience, and a calm approach in busy clinical settings
