Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff to ensure safe, timely care
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team and families to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Active placement on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry or eligibility to be listed
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel-assignment schedule
• Current BLS/CPR certification per facility requirements (preferred or required)
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable performing ADLs and basic bedside care with empathy and professionalism
• Knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices
• Ability to observe, document, and communicate resident changes clearly
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Positive attitude and resilience to thrive on a travel assignment
