Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and interpret results to inform individualized plans
- Develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student
- Write clear, timely progress reports and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Monitor student progress using data-driven methods and adjust treatment as needed
- Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when appropriate
- Support transition planning and communication goals across school settings
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State SLP license or ability to obtain state licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or working toward
- Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric caseloads and IEP processes
- Clear background check and ability to meet district onboarding requirements
- Availability for a 25-week assignment from 2025-12-29 through 2026-06-16
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or Communication Sciences and Disorders)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in pediatric assessment and individualized treatment planning
- Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education collaboration
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for nonverbal or minimally verbal students
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable using data to drive decisions and demonstrate student progress
- Knowledge of language disorders, articulation/phonology, fluency, and social communication
