Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices to keep residents secure
• Help create a warm, home-like environment by engaging residents in meaningful activities
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Must be listed/eligible on the Pennsylvania CNA registry as applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and communicate with kindness
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control best practices and PPE use
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
