Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote patient independence
• Support meal service and document intake as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering respectful and attentive care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (must meet state requirements)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and standard health screenings
• Comfort working the night shift and collaborating with a clinical team
• Compassionate bedside manner and dependable work ethic
• Previous long-term care or similar experience preferred but new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care fundamentals and basic clinical assessment
• Vital sign measurement and accurate documentation
• Basic infection prevention and safety protocols
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Comfort with electronic charting or willingness to learn
