Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, monitor changes, and report concerns to the nursing team
- Support safe and timely transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention measures
- Document resident care and observations accurately and promptly
- Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families, offering dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — Travel LNA (T-LNA) experience is a plus
- Eligible to work in New Hampshire and able to obtain any local certifications required
- Comfortable and experienced working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Reliable, patient-focused, with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program and active LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in resident care routines, assistance with ADLs, and safe resident handling
- Proficient in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
- Clear and compassionate communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety best practices
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy care setting
