Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and psychological evaluations for patients in the mental health unit
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy tailored to patient needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Document clinical encounters and maintain timely, professional records
• Participate in training and supervision, including the required one-week onboarding
• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment when needed
• Support continuity of care through effective handoffs and care coordination

Qualifications

• Active Psychologist license (PSYL) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Willingness to complete the required one-week training prior to assignment
• Comfort working in a correctional facility environment (Mule Creek State Prison)
• Demonstrated experience or interest in mental health treatment and assessments
