Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality respiratory care treatments and therapies to patients
Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status, adjusting care plans as needed
Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
Administer oxygen therapy and airway management with precision and care
Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices

Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license for Missouri or eligibility to obtain one
CRT or RRT credential preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
Clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred; new grads may be considered with strong clinical training
Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings

Education

Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program (or equivalent)
Completion of required clinical training and credentialing

Knowledge & Skills

Proven knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory modalities
Skilled in airway management, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medication delivery
Strong patient assessment and monitoring abilities
Clear, compassionate communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with infection control practices and respiratory equipment maintenance
