Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neonatal and pediatric respiratory care using ventilator management and high-flow therapies
• Manage specialized equipment including 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide and Heliox
• Deliver and monitor noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP) and perform chest physiotherapy (CPT) as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes to multidisciplinary team members
• Respond to emergent respiratory needs and participate in patient stabilization and transport when required
• Collaborate with nurses, neonatologists and respiratory leadership to develop and execute patient-focused treatment plans
• Educate families and staff on respiratory interventions and best practices to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current BLS, NRP and PALS certifications (must have — candidates without these will not be considered)
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Current NICU/PICU experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred by the director

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care best practices
• Mechanical ventilator management and troubleshooting (3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators)
• High Flow Devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, BiPAP and CPT
• Clinical documentation in Meditech
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
