Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU
Perform continuous patient assessments and respond quickly to changes in condition
Administer medications and titrate therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Communicate clearly and empathetically with families about patient status and plan of care
Document care and interventions accurately in the patient record

Qualifications

Current RN license in California (or eligibility to obtain one)
Experience or training in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing
Current BLS certification; PALS highly preferred or required by facility
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and orientation processes
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of pediatric critical care principles and protocols
Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention
Comfortable with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and infusion therapies
Effective communication with families and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with safe medication administration and documentation practices
