Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-7:00 PM or 6:30 PM-7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Monitor and manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients, including those on continuous EEG
Titrate critical drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications with precision
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain optimal patient ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required at submission)
Driver's license required (to verify 50-mile radius rule)
Must pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
No artificial nails permitted in patient care areas
