Location: Dickinson, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas draws and analysis
Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) as needed
Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients of all ages across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Administer treatments and manage ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 BiPAP)
Independently handle respiratory care duties in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist team available 24/7

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist in North Dakota
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Previous travel experience not required but welcome
Comfortable working independently as the only RT on shift
Facial hair policy: must be able to pass fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR
Skilled in ABG draws and analysis
Knowledge of EKG procedures
Expertise in ventilator management (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 BiPAP)
Ability to treat patients of all ages (0-100)
Strong independent decision-making skills
Adaptable to rotating day/night shifts and weekend call
