Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and clinical excellence in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
• Provide pre-procedure and recovery care, bedside procedure support, and moderate sedation
• Enhance nursing competency and build a positive, collaborative unit culture
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance of nursing team
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and certifications
• Act as a clinical resource and leader, fostering professional growth among staff

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas (compact eligible)
• 3 years of RN experience required
• 1 year of management or clinical leadership experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in critical care and telemetry is a must
• Fluoro license preferred for technical staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of cardiac and critical care nursing
• Proficiency in titrating vasoactive drugs, heparin, IIb/IIIa, and blood products
• Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patients independently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience building a positive unit culture and mentoring staff
